Acumatica is looking for an Application Support Consultant to join our Operational Solutions Group team in Sri Lanka!

The Operational Solutions Group team is responsible for the business systems used within Acumatica including it’s own ERP system. Our work is focused on providing good application performance to our business processes so we can continue to grow.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Responds to the diverse application software and problems in order to minimize client downtime and productivity loss from technology malfunctions. 
  • Analysis of configuration changes to empower business scenarios.
  • Interface with IT System Administration as needed in the administration of user and application privileges, and provides guidance and consulting services in this area as-needed.
  • Assists internal customers in the use of Acumatica Business Systems.
  • Ensures that data pertaining to the status of service requests is entered into the tracking system accurately and promptly.
  • Implement configuration changes from cases, analyze backward compatibility of product changes, negotiate specifications with the OSG business analysis team.
  • Implementing and management of configuration changes within Acumatica ERP and CRM and other supporting systems.
  • Monitoring system health and escalation of issues impacting user experience with management and IT System Administration.
  • Maintenance: processing support requests, manual verification of fixed bugs.
  • Assist in change management of twice yearly software upgrades.
  • Able to be fully a part of a global team, communicating to employees across many borders.

Requirements:
  • Higher technical education in computer systems, systems and networks, information systems and technologies, system analysis and management, computational mathematics and Informatics.
  • Experience in system analysis, development of functional specifications for the new system’s functionality, creating workflow diagrams - for 2+ years.
  • Experience in the following domains: IT, System Support, ERP, System Performance Monitoring.
  • Experience working with both – technical resources and users.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to clearly express thoughts, structure big amounts of information, decompose objects and processes.
  • Ability to adhere to the designated priorities and focus on results.
  • Desire to learn new things and improve professional skills.
  • Ability to build constructive communication with colleagues, share information and experience.
  • Optional: experience in implementation/support of ERP systems.
