We are looking for a full-time HR Administration Specialist in Montreal to help support our growing team in Canada! This person will provide administrative support to several functional areas of Human Resources such as benefits, onboarding, and legislation requirements. 

This role is a 1-year maternity leave replacement contract. 

What you will do: 

  • Administer the company benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement services and leave practices. 

  • Assist new hires with the onboarding process and documentation. 

  • Enter data into HR databases and ensure data is accurate and consistent. 

  • Provide employment letters and process employment verification requests. 

  • Administer the company recognition programs to increase employee engagement and morale. 

  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding employment, company benefits or any other HR matter.  

  • Collaborate with the Finance team regarding billings for benefits and other HR-related costs. 

  • Perform other HR administrative tasks as needed. 

You: 

  • 2-3 years’ administrative experience in Human Resources. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline 

  • Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. 

  • Experience in benefits administration and compliance.  

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, trusted relationships with team members. 

  • Exercise and maintain a high degree of confidentiality. 

  • Team player with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environment.  

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 

  • Excellent organization and time management skills, as well as detail-oriented 

  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint 

  • Verbal and written communication in French (an asset) 

  • Familiarity with HR software (an asset)
