Acumatica is hiring a Software Developer for our Platform, performance, and customization team in Belgrade, Serbia!
 

About the role:

This position is challenging and requires a high level of qualification and commitment to master the complexities involved. As a Senior Developer in our team, you will play a crucial role in enabling our clients to tailor our ERP system to their specific needs, ensuring both the functionality and efficiency of their customized solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the customization module of our ERP system.
  • Enhance the system's plugin framework and extension points, allowing for the interception and modification of virtually any class and method in the business logic.
  • Package changes and extensions into customization projects that can be deployed on the production server of a specific customer.
  • Address compatibility issues between customization projects and new product versions.
  • Contribute to the development of the Customization Engine, including the project editor – an online development environment featuring numerous wizards for adding and editing custom objects such as database tables, columns, reports, access rights, new web pages, and code elements, including plugins.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of development experience in C# and SQL.
  • At least 3 years of backend web development experience for .NET.
  • Proven experience (3 years minimum) in developing platform functionalities, indicating involvement in complex products requiring the segregation of common system components into separate projects. Examples include custom ORM systems, database access layers, reports engines, etc.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in developing document management systems, ideally in CRM or ERP environments. Experience with various custom products involving user interactions with documents (creation, editing, processing) is also acceptable, such as insurance or medical systems websites.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in creating tools to aid developers in code generation.
  • Knowledge in developing visual editors and wizards, such as report editors or UI layout visual editors.
  • Experience in working with plugin-based systems and developing customizable solutions.
