Acumatica is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic team. As the AI/ML Senior Product Manager you will play a pivotal role and be the main interface with our partner and customer ecosystem.
This role requires a unique blend of business acumen, technical knowledge, and a strong focus on ensuring our ML/AI efforts resonate effectively with our customer base. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by shaping our ML/AI product strategy and driving successful customer adoption.

The right person needs to effectively communicate the needs of the small-to-medium business market to the technology experts that make the promise of AI/ML come to life.
What the job entails:
  • Partner and Customer Interface: Act as the primary point of contact and build strong relationships with our partner and customer ecosystem. Understand their needs, challenges, and business goals, and effectively communicate our ML/AI product capabilities and value propositions to address their requirements.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage closely with customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and validate product features. Conduct customer interviews, user testing, and surveys to gain insights and ensure that our ML/AI solutions meet their expectations and deliver tangible business value.
  • ML/AI Product Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, marketing, and sales, to define and execute the ML/AI product strategy. Identify market opportunities, analyze customer feedback, and develop product roadmaps that align with business objectives and drive customer success.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond. Define product requirements, prioritize features, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases. Monitor product performance, analyze metrics, and iterate based on customer feedback and market dynamics.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape related to ML/AI technologies. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify opportunities for differentiation and strategic positioning.
  • Document benefits of planned features and ensure senior management is presented with the information necessary to make informed decisions.
Qualifications: 
  • Business and Technical Background: bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. A solid understanding of ML/AI technologies, data science concepts, and cloud platforms. Exposure to ERP systems and familiarity with their functionalities is a plus.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with a deep understanding of customer interaction and the ability to build strong relationships. Strong empathy for customer challenges and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Product Management Expertise: Demonstrated experience in ML/AI product management, including defining product strategies, roadmap development, and successful product launches. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, user-centered design principles, and data-driven decision-making. Exposure to ERP systems and their integration with ML/AI solutions is an additional advantage.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Strong presentation skills to effectively convey product value propositions and engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to gather and analyze data, extract meaningful insights, and make informed product decisions. Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

For this role, the salary range is $130,000- $150,000 annually. This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job and may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant elements. At Acumatica, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
